Indian Chief 'Two Eagles' was asked by a white U.S. government official, "You have observed the white man for 90 years. You've seen his wars and his technological advances. You've seen his progress, and the damage he's done."

 The Chief nodded in agreement.

  The official continued, "Considering all these events, in your opinion, where did the white man go wrong?"

  The Chief stared a t the government official then replied,

 "When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex."

   Then the Chief leaned back and smiled, "Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that."

bir gün halam aradı ve babamın kanser olduğunu ve şu an son saatlerini yaşadığını söyledi. umursamadım bile. niye umursayayım ki bizi unutan en başta oydu. sonradan eşim onu ziyaret etmem gerektiğini söyledi. hastaneye gittim. herkes babamın başucundaydı, annem bile. ağlıyordu herkes, babam ben gelene kadar ölmüştü. tek damla gözyaşı bile dökmedim. 3 gün sonra annem bana bir sepet dolusu mektup verdi. bunları babamın gönderdiğini ve bunları bizden gizlediği için çok üzgün olduğunu söyledi. kalbim orada çöktü. kendime hakim olamadım ve anneme tokat attım.

günler sonra babamın eşyalarını toplamaya evine gittim. başka bir ailesi falan yoktu. tek kişilk daire, tek kişilik yatak. oturma odasının tam ortasında da abimin, annemin ve benim fotoğrafı vardı.

A Speeding Ticket

Two British traffic patrol officers from east of Edinburgh, were involved in an unusual incident, while checking for speeding drivers on the road.

One of the officers ( who are not named ) used a hand-held radar device to check the speed of a vehicle approaching over the hill, and was surprised when the speed was recorded over 300mph. The machine suddenly stopped working and the officers were not able to reset it.

The radar had in fact locked on to a NATO Tornado fighter jet over the North Sea, which was engaged in a low-flying exercise over the area.

Back at police HQ the chief constable sent a stiff complaint to the office. Back came the reply in true laconic style. "Thank you for your message, which allows us to complete the file on this incident. You may be interested to know that the tactical computer in the Tornado jet had automatically locked on to your 'hostile radar device' and sent a jamming signal back to it. Furthermore, the Sidewinder air-to-ground missiles aboard the fully-armed aircraft had also locked on to the target. Fortunately the Dutch pilot flying the Tornado responded to the missile status alert intelligently and he was able to override the automatic protection system before the missile was launched."
